Large family villas in Bali

Hi all,

We are looking to go to Bali next year with the extended family and would require a villa of about 8 or 9 bedrooms. Do they even exist?. We are looking for a villa that would have chefs/maids etc as we just want to be able to relax by the pool and those who want to venture out can do so, so we don't want to be too far away from the main places like Seminyak for example. Can anyone recommend a villa? or otherwise are there resorts that have self contained apartments and we can just rent out a number of apartments.

Thanks so much

I recommend you check a couple of different avenues to locate the accommodation you seek........try the actual Bali forum, so that the local experts can see your question, and reply, and also check the 2 websites I list below for rental accommodation....also, when you are in the Bali forum, you can check on that page for Bali Vacation Rentals listed through TA too......all you need do is look at the green bar that runs along the top of the page for the tab "Holiday Rentals", and click on the tab to locate them, or just click the blue link in this post.....you can reach the Bali forum the same way..........good luck with your search

Someone on the Bali forum did do a round up of all the larger villa's. It was some while ago though.

As Eden has said.. the Bali forum DE's and regulars are a very good source of information. However, before you book anything, it's well worth reading the reviews ( and looking at the photo's) that other travellers have submitted.

They are more candid than publicity blurb provided by owners/rental companies.
