Beaches near marina?

We are planning on visiting la Cruz this winter and staying at the marina. Where is the closest beach(ex) from the marina? TIA!

There is a beach on either side of the marina with restaurants and bars. Just up the road about 5 minutes drive is Buceriass and the is an out door flea market as well as plenty of restaurants also.

Destiladeras beach is about a 10 minute drive (taxi or bus) from the marina, towards Punta Mita. It's a fantastic beach - wide, long, no rocks - that blows away any of the beaches right in the vicinity of the marina:

But there isn't much infrastructure there, so if you want a place with good beach and plenty of restaurant choices, I would head to Bucerias - a short taxi or bus ride, and for that matter, you can even walk to it along the shore from the marina (at least when it's not high tide).

Their is also La Manzanilla in La Cruz with some restaurants and beach, off the highway across from the Alamar condo buildings. Much loser than Desdilladeras though not as expansive.
