Yes.A rip-off 11 euros for 2 sunbeds and a parasol per day.But in Majorca such facilities do seem to be more expensive than elsewhere in Europe (not France!).4 euros on Costa del Sol,5 euros on Greek Islands.France are just ridiculous.

When I was there a couple of weeks ago they were doing an offer of 3 days for €27 or 1 week for €65 for the two beds and parasol.

I know this seems a lot - but in Javea on the Costa Blanca last year they were charging 18 euros per day, no deals; with a further 50 cents each time you wanted to use the shower! We were there for three weeks, and after the first day we bought our own, (you can get them very cheaply in tourist shops) used them and left them behind at the apartment when we left. Saved us a huge amount of money. Might be worth thinking about if you are going for more than a week.

Yes, it's 11 euros a day for an umbrella and 2 sunbeds, although you can get a discount if you book for 3 or 7 days. Be prepared though, the tape they put around the umbrella pole to indicate the beds are booked is not obvious to many people (booked beds are also stood up on their sides against the umbrella) and you may find someone on your beds when you get there!

There is no doubt you need to have shade if you are on the beach or you will be uncomfortable very quickly.

As the sand was clean and fluffy, we used towels and a substantial beach umbrella hired from the Multi-Hire shop which did the business and only cost 10euro for a week. Saved enough for several evening meals.
