decaf coffee

this may sound like a silly question but can any body tell me if the cafe's and restaurants do decaf coffee - I drink decaf at home and after coming back from hols last year was quite ill after all the cafinated coffee I drank - never thought of asking when I was there so wondered if anybody could tell me before I go again this year--- thank you.......

i would be very surprised it was the coffee that made you ill there are very very small doses of caffiene in coffee and caffine is in lots of drinks and food

Decaf (Descafinado) is available all over. Some places have sachets of instant coffee and some have proper machine ground decaf beans.

so I suppose the best thing to do would be to ask for decaf and hope for the best -- I don't drink alcohol and I know it's the coffee as it happened once before as I drink a lot of coffee on hols -- thank you again.......

DeCaf is available throughout Spain - I don´t drink ´normal´ Coffee either.

For a weaker bend ask for sobre (sachet) that is generally Nescafe. For a much better/stronger freshly ground brew ask for de máquina (pronounced makina).
