Getting dark in the evenings?

Thinking of a weeks break in mid October. Just a few of questions. At what time in the afternoon does it start getting dark, mid October? Will the resort be very quiet in mid October? Is it an easy walk from the town centre to the larger supermarkets?

It is getting dark just after 6pm.I haven't looked at the site Peter recommended my observation is from experience. The biggest and best supermarket is the Eroski by the petrol station. About 10 minutes walk from the bus station/taxi rank/marina/Church Sq.

Yes it will be quiet but nowhere near deserted. Not a no-go time to visit.
