Travellers Beach Club Bamburi

Hi We are going to the Travellers Beach Club at the end of August for two weeks. Are there any villages within walking distance? Are there any local markets within walking distance? Are there any boats trips bookable locally, not fishing. Lastly for now what is the best two day, one night safari to go on and how far is the safari from the hotel? Can we expect to see the big 5 on this type of safari? Many thanks

Hi DPW

We got our visa when we landed. Didn't take too long as we downloaded the visa form from the Kenyan embassy site and filled it in before we landed so we could just walk up to the counter and pay. Didn't fancy sending my passport off.......

Yeah, we paid about 20% deposit when we booked the safari into Glorious' UK bank account and then the rest shortly before flying out. Shadrack won't be on the beach lol how would he reply to all our emails?!

He'll be in his office about 20 minutes away from the hotel. You can always give him a ring when you get there or organise it with him now.

Cheers,

Hi Lolly Who did you book with on the beach? We only want to do a 2 day and 1 night safari so if you did a 3 day/1 night one I guess it would work out about the same. Devon PW
