hoping to spend about a month in Alicante in January, love Benidorm early season but could not spend a month there!!!!!! anyone recommend apts that are not to quiet, around 20min from Benidorm or even a little further out and not too far from airport. we could be looking at spending most of the winter there next year.

If you are looking for something a bit quieter perhaps Altea or Calpe would fit the bill? Many bars, restaurants & hotels would be closed in other smaller resorts at this time of year however so quiet resorts could be VERY quiet in Jan.

We always stay in El Campello in a lovely apartment close to the seafront, although as Mark says a lot of the restaurants and bars on the promenade close for winter.

The tram runs through the town with easy access to Alicante, Benidorm etc so a good opportunity to explore the area.

Jean.
