lodging

My husband's family comes from Cerda. We would like to spend some time there, not in Palermo. Can someone recommend a B&B? We prefer that to a hotel. Will be there in April.

Many thanks!!!

It doesn't seem Cerda has any B&B or guest house. There are some in Caccamo, Campofelice di Roccella, Cefalu`, Collesano and Termini Imerese.

Prego Martie D,

Cerda is a very local town, so your options are limited. If these accommodations aren't to your liking, you can look further afield at some of the towns suggested by Aussies11, and also agriturismi in the area.

Thanks for the tip. Since my husband's family comes from Cerda, it would be really fun to stay there, but will pursue other leads, just in case. You've been there? Our first time.

Yes, and yes.

It would be really fun to best appreciate your husband's town by staying in the town.

Will you visit during the Sagra del Carciofo?

Dear Vagabonda, no luck with my emails to the Cerda Comune; will write again for info on local DiGregorios. New question... hope to fly out of Palermo to Naples. Local commuter planes? Should we buy tickets from here, or wait till we're there? I imagine there are many options, since that route is popular to reach the Mainland (ferry not an option for my prone-to-sea sickness husband).

I appreciate your help!

Martie
