Living in Beausoleil

Hi

Where do I research for rental property in Beausoleil? Every time I type in places to rent i get a varied number of holiday rentals come up which is not what I am looking for...

I am actually looking to reside in Beausoleil for some time but need to look at options on renting property as my budget will only stretch so far...

If anyone has ANY information that you may believe to be useful then I would very much appreciate your reply

look for an immobilier -- that's the French for 'estate agent'

you might also try a site like http://www.avendrealouer.fr/ , www.pap.fr , www.fnaim.fr , and www.seloger.fr

The Nice Matin local newspaper site IMO is best for property in the area...

Unless you know the source 100% make sure you do things through a French estate agent. This guarantees your deposit, avoids scammers and ensures you are paying local rents as opposed to the horror stories we sometimes on this forum hear of people working through a landlord who may live in another country.

I recommend you start with an aparthotel for a week or two - there are a few in Beausoleil, very good value - and when you get here, visit all the estate agents/agences immobiliers and check out Nice Matin. So very much easier to find a place if you are already here, and you will have a much better feel for the area and what's on offer.

The aparthotel I know personally is the Adagio on Rue des Martyrs, very good value. The same chain (Accor) has another, even more central and close to the market.
