usual "touristy " questions

Hi, staying at Peace Hotel, in bungalows, have some typically British questions if any one can help please!

Tea/coffee-is it ok, like me Tetley tea!

wifi-we have a teenager, say no more, is it any good/expensive?

Local shops-are toiletries ok to buy, soap, etc, obviously will bring but it s so heavy and wonder if able to buy there

Fridge in rooms-are these re stocked/expensive

what sort of prices are drinks in the hotel please?

Thanks!

Hi

LOL!

Tea/coffee-is it ok, like me Tetley tea!

A] Yes it is. I hate tea but they coffee is nice enough, you find a few places that sell really good stuff, and you find Starbucks and other coffet outlets round and about

wifi-we have a teenager, say no more, is it any good/expensive?

A] many hotels have it free, as do bars and restaurants

Local shops-are toiletries ok to buy, soap, etc, obviously will bring but it s so heavy and wonder if able to buy there

A] 7elevens sell a good choice of toiletries, but head to Tesco Lotus or Big C (yes they are large supermarkets) that sell a huge range of stuff. We take our sun cream as it is cheaper at home, but most other stuff is similarly priced to that in the UK.

Fridge in rooms-are these re stocked/expensive

A] depends, some are some aren't. Prices are not cheap [IMO]. We move any stocked items and put our own stuff in, then put their stuff back when we leave.

what sort of prices are drinks in the hotel please?

A] generally not that cheap and prices are cheaper in the bars outside, especially the happy hours or the special vans you see about, you will find some really cheap drinks along the Friday night market or walking street.

Make sure you ask for hot tea otherwise you end up with a strange concoction that involves carnation milk! In our hotel room we had breakfast tea and twinings earl grey and available in most places we ate.
