Glitter bay beach

Staying at Porters Court Feb. 17 - Mar. 26. Ontario is in the minus temp. realm. BRRRR. Since Barbados beaches are public how do you get to the beach in front of Glitter Bay or Fairmont . I know there is a pathway to Alleynes Beach. Can you walk to the other beaches. Many thanks.

Yes, just walk the length of the beaches as you cannot use private property to access the beaches.

Just north of Lone Star there is a public access from H1 to the beach via some rough and tumble stairs. Once on the beach you can walk to Holetown and beyond. It is a good 2-3 kms and takes under an hour. And there are probably 3-4 public access paths/roads on this stretch. Our favourite daily exercise from Aylene's beach and even doable with our 1 year old granddaughter in a sling.

Just avoid high tides or when the sea is roiling, as it is today.

You'll enjoy the transition from minus 28 to plus 28 (and breezy) here.

Sounds great. Minus 15 and another round of blowing snow and squalls tonight and into tomorrow. Counting the days. ty

There is a path to the beach just up the road before Ju Ju's beach bar above Royal Pavilion.
