I'm not sure what you actually want.

Do you want someone to drive you from the holiday park to Luzern?

As I mentioned on the phone, (1) for a day trip, the distance Missen to Luzern and return is too far. You won't have any time left for Luzern, especially since in October daylight hours are more limited.

Should you decide to make it an overnight trip, the routing is fairly simple and you won't need a guide. Besides, I can't think of any guide in the Missen - Immenstadt area, unless the resort can provide one for you.

Since you have a car, going by train from Immenstadt to Luzern is much more awkward and time consuming than by car.

The car routing would be: Missen - Immenstadt (12km) on the unnumbered Missener Strasse; Immenstadt to Lindau on the B-308/A96. That's part of the Deutsche Alpenstrasse (German Alpine Highway), in part a quite scenic, easy-to-drive road.

The B-308 ends at the Autobahn A- 96. Take it south for 4km to Lindau and follow the signs to Bregenz.

Lindau itself is worth a stop, if not on this trip, it would be a nice day trip from Missen. (64km)

Before you cross the border to Bregenz/ Austria on the Autobahn, check what the toll arrangements are for the short distance you will be on that short stretch of Austrian autobahn. Any service station near Lindau can tell you. You only want to go as far as Bregenz on the autobahn.

In Bregenz, take the Austrian route 3 to St. Margarethen, in Switzerland (12km). At the border get a Swiss autobahn toll sticker (it's called a Vignette), and pick up the Autobahn A-13, going south, to the interchange with the autobahn A-3, going west (47km). Take the A-3 either to the Pfaeffling exit. (37km), and take the scenic Route 8 to Schwyz and Brunnen (31km). From Brunnen, drive along the Vierwaldstaetter See (Lake Lucerne) to Luzern. This is a very scenic, good road, 42km. The main sight along the way (besides the lake) is the train (from Gersau) or cable car (from Weggis) to the top of the Rigi.

Or, from Pfaeffling continue on the A-3 to the Waederswill exit (11km), and cross over to the A-4 to Luzern (35km)

PS: Somehow the (2) was left out: (2) Since you have a car, going by train from Immenstadt to Luzern would be much more awkward, with up to 5 changes of trains. .
