Canyou swim & snorkel in Lamai Beach ? is it clear water

for a chilling, swimming, beach, snorkelling and eating good food and generally relaxing - is the best place to go to in Koh Samui ?

Hi

Yes you swims and chills massage relax in Lamai beach. However koh Samui is not best for snorkeling but have heard of some down towards near grand father and grand mother rocks are ok.( the grands rocks are the south end of Lamai beach). If you want best for snorkeling you have to go near by island koh Tao or go on the boat tour.

If you want the best of beach check out South chaweng beach and Cheong mon beach.

November you will be on the middle of rainy season and that's make the ocean not as clear as others season because of the rough sea.
