Weather & Seafood

I am due to arrive in Beruwela on the 21st May and was wondering what the current weather is like.

I was also wondering if the Neptune hotel does seafood, or if there are any good seafood restraunts nearby.

Thanks for any help or advice you can give.

Hi Martin,

Can only partly help you, sorry. Weather has become more mixed over the last week - some days still nice sunny mornings and only evening rain, but e.g. last Friday was all day cloudy with intermittent rain. Early intermonsoon weather I'm afraid, but even then often enough (intermittent) sunshine available over a longer period...

Can't help you with Beruwala restaurants or Neptune, but Bentota (about 15 mins by tuktuk) has a wide variety of tourist restaurants on the Bentota 'strip' - with quite some seafood variety too. No culinary specialists so can't go deeper...

All the best,

<Erik> & [Sandya]

Hi Martin,

Further, it is still raining most of the time. I hope that it will settle in few days.
