faro airport

I am looking at trying to hire out a baby/toddler seat from the airport, has anyone any info on this, just that some car hire firms charge around £25.00 + as were staying for 10 days thought this may be a cheaper option

thanks

only hire car firms rent them - nothing at airport. Are you sure you cant bring car seat or booster seat with you. We have a kid and fly with easyjet and ryanair and always take a booster with us but admit the small print on their web sites is confusing

if its easyjet they have now amended there terms and condition online to make it clear, you can bring car seats and booster seats free of charge.

if you do hire one from the airport make sure it is the correct one for childs weight, height and age , the GNR (Police) are quite strict if your stopped on checking child car seats. BTW I didn't know you could hire them from the airport, is their a stand or do you mean from the car hire company itself?.

The cheapest one to buy @ Continente is €40.

If your flying Ryanair they charge £10 per each flight for carriage of carseats/boosterseats if booked online, double if done at airport .

Just looked at little rascals equipment hire website and they want £25 per week for a car seat and then pro rata for extra days, so would be approx £38, doesn't define what delivery charges are on top but they do deliver to airport and also they have an out of hours delivery surcharge so can run out expensive. Cheaper bringing your own with you and paying carriage charges if applicable depending on which airline you are travelling with.

Ryanair let you bring one pram, buggy, booster etc free of charge. The web site is unclear and staff may give different answers but we flew with 8 yr old and 1 piece hand luggage each and one booked case. They took the booster free of charge and the flight was full. Its luck of the draw I'm afraid.
