Hello ; How many days will take to go to Everest Base camp from Lulka through path of Machermo Gokyo Cho la ?

How many days we need to accilimization?

please help me to manage my itinerary .

Gokyo Lake Chola pass Trek can do in 16 to 20 days how you fit, normally 1 day in Namche and another days at Machhermo can be the good place to acclimatization.

Hope below itinerary can help you to plan your trip, itinerary is only roughly idea you may change on the sport according to your fitness and condition, however we suggest you don’t ascend more than 500m a day up to 3000m

Day 01: Fly to Lukla (35 minutes) trek to Phakding O/N Lodge (2-3 hours)

Day 02: Trek to Namche Bazzar (3540m) O/N Lodge (5-6 hours)

Day 03: Acclimatization day at Namche O/N Lodge

Day 04: Trek to Dole (4200m) O/N Lodge (5-6 hours)

Day 05: Trek to Machhermo (4440m) O/N Lodge (4-5 hours)

Day 06: Acclimatization day at Machhermo at Lodge.

Day 07: Trek to Gokyo (4790m) O/N Lodge (4-5 hours)

Day 08: Explore around Ngozumba gleacer O/N Gokyo. (4-5 hours)

Day 09: Early Morning walk up to Gokyo Ri (5360m) for Panoramic Mountai view (Where from we can explore 4 of Highest Mountain on the world and all Khunbu Himalayan range and after enjoying view back to Gokyo and have lunch after lunch trek to Dragnag Kharka (4700m) O/N Lodge(5-7 hours)

Day 10: This day we are going to cross Mountain pass call Chola Pass (5330m) no need any climbing gear and technical just normal walk) and Over night Dzonglha (4830m) O/N Lodge (7-8 hours)

Day 11: Trek to Labuche (4900m) O/N Lodge (3-4 hours)

Day 12: Trek to Gorakshep (5180m) after lunch continues to Everest base camp and back to Gorakshep O/N Lodge (6-7 hours) (

Day 13: After breakfast climb up to Kalapather (5545m highest point of trek) for Everest view After enjoying view back to Gorakshep and lunch,after lunch trek back to Labuche O/N Lodge(6-7 hours)

Day 14: Trek back to Dingboche (4400m) O/N Lodge (4-5 hours)

Day 15: Trek back to Thyangboche Monastery O/N Lodge (5-6 hours)

Day 16: Trek back to Namche O/N Lodge (4-5 hours)

Day 17: Trek back to Lukla O/N Lodge (5-6 hours)

Day 18: After breakfast fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel O/N Kathmandu.

Alan's itinerary is no doubt perfect and surely you will have great pace following his plan. It will take about 17/18 days. 2 Days acclimatization, 1 in Namche Bazaar and 1 in Gokyo should be enough!

I 'll go to Tibet on Sept. and go to Rongbuk Monastery+ Everest Base Camp for 2 days. I hear EBC closed now ! Do any one know about it?and why it closed?

Will it open soon ?

EBC is closed because two western tourists hanged a flag with "free Tibet" at EBC. China have closed the street to Rongpuk at the first check point. You cannot reach EBC now, and they didn't inform till when, and the news are that it'll be possible that Tibet will be close during the month of October.

Hi

Not only is EBC closed but reports state no permits are being issued for travel in Tibet during September. (When TTPs are issued it's for a mminimumof 5 people with the same passport). Maybe check the Tibet forum.

17-21 days as your walking skill , Depend up to your health as well , normally 3 days is enough for acclimatization
