what will the bus ticket from delhi to joshimath and cost of stay at auli. Does the bus go through to Auli oronly rope way is the solution?

State transport and Union buses run regularly between Joshimath and Rishikesh (253 kms), Haridwar (277 km), Dehradun (298 km) and Delhi (500 km). The fare chart is not available now, you'll be informed as soon as that received. It will be convenient to reach Hridwar from Delhi by train and get the bus fpr Joshimath from Haridwar, that will minimise the tiring bus journey.

There are frequent bus services between Joshimath and Auli, its only 13 kms distance.

There are hotels in Auli, but the options are limited and rates are on the higher side, hence it is adviced to stay at Joshimath.

Is this ropeway open in September too?

and is there any chance of skiiing in September?
