Women Beachwear - are thongs bikinis ok?

I copied the following list of clothing, etc., offered on the Tommy Bahama web site. I think you have to be more specific. For instance: boxers my not be appropriate in some restaurants :)

And hell yea, thongs are acceptable. (On women, that is!)
