Quality Hotel or Apartments - 1st Wedding Aniversary

We are looking for suggestions for Alcudia or Puerta Pollensa for our anniversary. We are thinking about a 4 star property that is within easy reach of the resort centre. We would like a realcing pool area during the day not into games around the pool or loud music. At night we would like to be able to go for a nice meal, few drinks and watch some entertainment either in the hotel or in resort.

Any tips?

lol! I will give you a gift of a bit of knowledge....The Hotel Daina in Puerto Pollensa...right in the resort centre and the hotel swimming pool just out into the sea. Its not a hotel that attracts rowdy families...or is it going to blow the bank (or blow you away).....its a good, honest 4 star hotel with friendly staff and you will be well looked after.

Its just the sort of place you would want for your anniversary.

Thank you very much. The Daina Hotel looks lovely and the pool area is fabulous. Will definately be checking availability for this. :-)

Have you ever considered something a little bit different from the normal type of resort hotel, you never know you may just love it.

Have a look at this for example in the middle of Pollenca town

Hiya Hayzer,

Thank you very much for the information. Completely love your recommendation, dont think I would spend a fortnight there though. Might look into booking it for about 3 or 4 nights. Thanks again. x

You may want to consider playa de Muro, this is just down the coast to alcudia but is less busy, the hotels are much nicer and many of them are on the beach (IMO the nicest stretch of beach on the island). There is no resort centre as such but there are a few bars and restaurants along the main road that runs through it, many of the large hotels do good all inclusive deals, which is why playa de Muro is fairly low key.
