Anybody stayed at Sea Front Residence Hotel, Bijilo

This looks a really nice place! Anybody stayed here or know anything about it? Is it miles from anywhere or is near a small town?

Never seen it and I have been living in Bijilo for a few months !

Any idea where it's near and I can go have a look.

Bijilo is pretty small place.

Hi Kim

It's new and it's right on Bijilo Beach, that's about all I can find out. It does have a website, I think it opened in October 2011 just wondered if anyone had stayed or had a nosey as it sounds to be a classy sort of place!

It's between Bijilo Beach hotel and Lemon Creek, Gambian owned.

Going to cut through there on my way home from beach.

Hi

This is one of the hotels currently under investigation by the Tax Commission The manager Nana Mamoud told them this week that although originally registered in 2003 as the Concord hotel building and development had taken years and they had only taken their first guests this month Doesnt seem to be an hotel as we understand it but a series of connected apartments they are priced between £85/90 per night so pretty top end rgds

We visited this place in January 2011. They were still finishing the pathways and gardens but the rooms were of a high standard - apartments with all the facilities.

Pool was excellent. Bar and restaurant not in operation then but was ready for use. We were quoted around £350/week for apartment. Kim's location is accurate and the place is quite large with its own beach front.

At that time there was at least one guest in residence.

Umm more or less straight accross the road from me, in between lemon Creek and Golden Beach, very very expensive...£80+ per night. Think they are aiming for more corporate bookings and are not using tour operators, this according to Kim who paid a visit yesterday. The restaurant used to be called The Scene and was run by Peter from Ngala Lodge but he walked when they trippled his rent after 6 months, so not sure how the restaurant is now!1
