Are the dates indeed the weekend of the 17th? Where is the festival held? Hours?

Well, if you are refering to music wise yes. There are a variety of artists that perform during the length of the festival. I'm not sure if at night there is music, maybe someone who has gone there recently can add info. Maybe there late night music on Saturday.

There are some kiosks selling food and beverages, and maybe some local artisans.

But that is about it. Well, it is a bit like "patronales' on a smaller scale and everyone is in bathingsuits. Need to arrive early to find a parking spot.

We would be going threw later in the day/early evening Sunday. Sounds like more of a day...playa... event. We are stopping for dinner in Arecibo regardless, so can play it by ear. Thanks.

Stop in Salitre (Arecibo) for dinner. Great seafood, and the beach view is phenomenal.
