Dressing sense at malgund

Is dresses open or conservative there for ladies. Can ladies/girls wear shorts,caprice on beach etc..

Knee-length shorts and capris are ok, although Malgund is conservative area. Women do not go into water in swimwear in this area. Mostly they wear salwar kameez and saree.

Konkan people are used to see tourists with different dressing than theirs.

But it is advisable not to look too different or too modern.

sp Capris is ok. But should avoid swim ware etc.

The trend says that you have got to be fashionable, not too much, but at least not look like a boring employee working up numbers all day on their laptop screens. People have actually started to give attention to what a person is wearing while at a place.
