Lunch spots

Hi!

My husband and I are heading up to Bilpin for two nights midweek and are planning on travelling around a bit during the day and retiring back to Bilpin in the evenings.

We are going to do some nice lunches out rather than heading out for dinner so are after some brilliant little lunch spots.

We are not huge on "Tourist" spots with a view, but are after places that make good, honest and fresh foods…places the locals visit for lunch with friends.

Can anyone recommend some places that would suit that brief?

Thanks!

Beck

Kurrajong has some lovely restaurants, or you could head over to Leura, Wentworth Falls or Blackheath - some wonderful eateries in these towns - plenty of fresh, honest, quality fare. Just follow your nose in any of these places. Unique Patisserie at the bottom of Katoomba St is amazing!

The restaurant at Mount Tomah Botanic Gardens is now run by Sean Moran of Sean's Panaroma.

We've eaten there twice, both good experiences.

Pleasant outlook, too.
