Is drive from Arches NP to Price, UT safe at night?

We are planning to travel to Arches National Park coming weekend. The plan is to spend the day at Arches, watch the sun-set there and then drive to Price at night (staying at Price instead of Moab as we head north early next morn). Should we expect a lot of animals on the highway in that part? Or is it very safe?

You should be fine. Not much between green river and price, but it is a well marked two-lane highway that is well traveled.

Animals are not as much a problem on that stretch of road. But do be vigilant for drivers too anxious to pass.

I wouldn't worry about it much. Just be alert, as normal.

The OP already is back. Curious how it all went driving us6 in the dark. That used to be one of the most dangerous highways in the USA but it has improved.
