One day in Bryce

We may just have one long day in Bryce Canyon. What would be the best hikes to do and things to see.

If you have a full day in Bryce, take the scenic drive to the end at Rainbow Point, then see all the overlooks on the way back towards the lodge. All the viewpoints will be on your right coming back down the hill. Then head to the main amphiteater trails.

If you have a partial day, head to the main amphiteater and try the Navajo/Queens Garden Trail.

At the end of the scenic drive is the Bristlecone Pine trail. It is only a mile and fairly level and a good introduction.

The other trail I always recommend is the Navajo to Queen's Garden loop. Starts at Sunset viewpoint and ends at Sunrise, so you also get a little of the rim trail as well.

Be sure to climb to the highest point at Inspiration Point... it is worth it.
