hiking distance to best sunrise viewpoint

1.What viewpoint should I go to to see the sunrise?

2. How long does it take to drive there from Best Western Grande?

3. How long does the hiketake from the viewpoint parking lot to the viewpoint?

Note, I'm here at Bryce right now and there's snow on the ground so it needs to be a hike doable in snow.

Thanks a lot.

Have you asked the desk at BW Grand? Helpful people out there!

There's sunset and sunrise point. Both are good. It's no more than 15 minutes from te Grand to get there. Park your car and it's 100-300 yards to get to the viewpoints. Afa I can remember that is.

As noted, given the eastern view from most all points in Bryce you can view sunrise pretty much anywhere. Simply drive to the viewpoint, park and walk 30 seconds to two or three minutes and you'll have a great view.

Thanks everyone. Sunrise was gorgeous. I arrived at night and the front desk person at the BW Grand didn't seem all that knowledgable at that time of the day. So your help is much appreciated.

What about driving conditions from Springdale (Zion) to Bryce?

Driving conditions were fine. There wasn't any snow on the roads themselves thought there was snow on the hoodoos (perfect combination except that the mule rides into the canyon were not starting yet). The amount of snow on the hoodoos wasn't enormous but enough to give the area a definite wintery look. Fantastic.
