As part of a 2-week trip to Oregon, we managed to get reservations at Crater Lake Lodge the last couple of days of June. My spouse has very limited mobility, so hiking is out of the question. We plan mostly to drive around, and hang out in the area of the lodge/visitors' center - If Rim Road is not entirely open by late June, will there still be enough to see and do? Will we have good views of the lake, even if the weather isn't great? Also, we will be driving from Portland. If the north entrance remains closed, will we have to go out of our way to enter the park? Thanks!
