Family of 5

We stayed at the DV lodge after a 2 1/2 hr drove from Vegas. The rooms are clean, simply furnished, have a balcony or patio and have space for a rollaway bed. For a family with 3 kids, we are always seeking proper accommodations and avoid a pricey second room. The rooms have a sink out of the bath and toilet area for easy shared use. The room also has a refrigerator and coffee machine. Request a first floor room if moving luggage is difficult without an elevator.

Hi, Traveler--

Thanks for sharing this info, which should help people with kids.

Just to confirm which lodge you stayed at, is it Furnace Creek Ranch or Furnace Creek Inn? Only those two have multi-storey buildings; Stovepipe Wells and Panamint Springs are all one-storey.
