Anchorage to Denali Air Taxi?

Due to limited time in Alaska, I would like to fly out to Denali for a day from Anchorage and return on the same day. If this is not possible, I am able to stay for one night. But I would need to be back to Anchorage before noon the next day to catch my return flight to the mainland.

Any advice on this?

What do you plan on seeing/doing once you get to Denali?

Any jeep tours actually do not go into Denali Nat'l Park . . . it would be great to see your whole itinerary but it would be quite an expense to fly to/from Denali in a day. Seeing Denali is wonderful, but a fly by doesn't really do it justice. :)

Would you drive from Sacramento to Yosemite and back in one day (although we did that back ih 1959 when we arrived from NJ).No time to do anything. The vastness of Denali is far greater than your Yosemite

What part of "due to limited time" was confusing?

Sure, doing a flightseeing tour of Denali is extremely worthwhile, provided the mountain is visible. The good thing is that if it isn't, you don't need to pay the money for a flightseeing trip. Paying extra for a jeep trip? Meh.

Is it the same as a land-based visit to the national park? Of course not, but it only takes 3 hours instead of 3 days, so if that's the only chance you have to see Denali, take it. The view of the south face of the mountain from a light plane is one-of-a-kind. It simply fills the sky.

Rusts Flying Service has flightseeing trips out of Anchorage. They also have a flightseeing company in Talkeetna. Talkeetna is a very popular spot for flightseeing; much closer to the mountain. There are several vendors in Talkeetna .... it's about a 2 1/2 hr drive from Anchorage.
