we will be driving from Calgary to Glacier National Park after picking up groceries and supplies.
What specific items should we not purchase in Canada that will not be allowed across the border?
Will we have a problem with lunch meat and fruit?

An easy google search found many websites, here's one. But restrictions change often, so best to not buy too much in Canada. ezbordercrossing.com/the-inspection-experien…
Packaged unopened lunch meat is probably okay but fresh anything can be iffy.
sounds like we should not buy hotdogs or packaged lunch meat in Canada.
Where is the best place on the US side of the border to purchase fresh fruit, veggies and hotdogs before we get to Many Glacier Campground?
From my research for next year, Babb MT has a small store, Thronson's. ultimatemontana.com/businessdirectory/buspag… St Mary area has a cafe/grocery store http://www.parkcafe.us/index.php and there is a small grocery store at Many Glacier. We will be coming from the south, so much easier for us to stock up, use up the stuff before we go to Waterton Lakes.
When we came into the US from BC this week the main concern was if we had any fresh fruit.
