What are my odds of getting a campsite late at night.

OK. Poor planning on my part. Forgot to make a reservation for our first night (this Sat)! We land in Spokane around noon and after shopping for groceries I don't think we will get into West glacier until after 6pm. It looks like most of the campgrounds are filling up before noon. We have to stay on the west side since we leave for Sperry Chalet on Monday.

I'm thinking that I am out of luck and will need to stay at a hotel/motel or sleep in my car :(

Any thoughts?

I think there's a good possibility you're right in your thinking. :(

The one possibility is something up at Polebridge, but you may not want to drive that far either.

Try the West Glacier KOA. Forget Polebridge. It is too far to give you an early start for Sperry. have a great time at Sperry!

I agree with GNP4ME....

Make a reservation at West Glacier KOA...not Glaicer, in my opinion, after staying there...but it is a nice campground....

I just checked the Campground Status Page and EVERY campground in the park is full tonight!

So for weekend at night your chance is pretty close to zero.

I agree with Todd I'd call West Glacier KOA tonight!

I've never stayed there but my kids have when they were younger.
