Red Bus tours of GTTS

Do you need to make advance reservations for Red Bus tours of GTTS in late June? If weather is bad do you get a refund or can you reschedule for next day at no cost. Will be staying several days and would like to do 8 hr trip starting in West when views and photo opportunities will be at their best....staying near Polebridge. First time visitor so appreciate advice.

You can call Lake McDonald Lodge when you arrive in the area and ask about how far in advance you need to book, also about the feasibility of changing dates. My recommendation is always to wait and see what the weather brings before buying a ticket (they're not cheap.) If it's cloudy, don't bother going. If it's a sunny day, grab that opportunity quickly! It's only a gorgeous, scenic trip if it's not raining or cloudy. I'm pretty sure you can buy your ticket the day of departure, and late June is not the peak high season, but double check when you get here.

Enjoy -- they are awesome buses!

We're also planning to make a 2-day stop at GNP on June 23-24, between a wedding near Bozeman and visiting friends in Coeur d'Alene, but only if the weather is nice. The Red Bus brochure says that reservations are REQUIRED - no? Can you really buy a ticket - or two - the same day as the tour?
