shuttle from the Loop to Logan Pass

I understand the shuttle does not run in September. If we want to park at the Loop and catch a ride back to the beginning of the Highline trail at Logan Pass, can we rely on hitchhiking, especially if it early in the morning? Or would we be better advised to park at Logan and get a ride from the Loop at the end of the day? I hate having to hitchike but if the shuttle is not running, thee is no other option.

This is a fairly common occurence. I would go from loop to Logan. You are "fresher" and fairly obvious what you are up to.

Kancarlbe, how did this work out for you? I'm traveling this September and will be hopefully doing the same as you.
