Sharing a dinner?

I have read many forums but I don't believe I have ever seen

this come up. May you 'share a plate' at dinner in the restaurants

at the Grand Canyon? We sometimes share a meal, not always

for price, but because some places serve such large amounts.

Often, I might order a side salad and share my husband's large

steak! I just wondered if this was allowed, acceptable or would

be frowned upon?

Please let me know your thoughts on this....

with much thanks!

You can't do it in the dining hall at Phantom Ranch, but it wouldn't be a problem at the rim. You can see sample menus at www.grandcanyonlodges.com.

We do this all the time at regular restaurants (not buffets or special meals). I just can't eat all the food usually.

Have a great trip.
