2 days in Grand Canyon in November

My husband and I will be at the Grand Canyon Nov 7 - 9. We're going for sightseeing rather than hiking or strenuous activities. With this limited time, would we be better off staying in one of the lodges in the park, or a hotel outside? Should we arrange in advance for any sightseeing at this time of year, or could we do that when we arrive?

Thanks for any suggestions!

If you can find lodging, then stay in the park. Call for cancellations if they are currently booked. Sightseeing is generally rim views, which you can do on your own in your car. West Rim may still have mandatory shuttle service at this time, not sure what time of year that ends. Check the national park website, nps.gov for any programs they have available at this time of year that might interest you.
