Read the sticky on the top of this forum, has basic and great information.

Grand Canyon National Park South Rim is open all year. If there is not a snowstorm on the day of your visit, you will be able to see the canyon and distanct views. Things to do at GCSR, see the canyon, hike along the canyon, a short hike into the canyon, learn about to the canyon at a vistor center... this park is about the canyon!

Visit www.nps.gov/grca for more information about what to see, where to stay etc. Winter is a great time to visit. Not too many people and the canyon with snow on it is beautiful!
