GC Village (main gate or hotel area) to page will take 3 hours without stops. Yes there are plenty of stops and detours, diversions and attractions along the way. You could take all day to make the drive and still miss worthwhile places.

Obvious stops in the first 25 miles are along the east rim drive inside the park. If you haven't planned time for this road and view points during your park visit then 2-3 hours is a minimum. After exiting the east gate at Desert View, the next logical stop is at historic Cameron Trading post. This can be a 15 minute bathroom break or an hour or longer for shopping and a snack. The next 2 hours is Painted Desert scenic highway. After the first hour you can detour on Alt89 up to Lees Ferry, Marble Canyon, Navajo Bridge and a look at the Colorado River, up close. This can be a minimum of an hour, more than likely 2-3. Back to 89 with potential stops at Horseshoe Bend Overlook for a one hour hike to view the river from a spectacular high view point. Slightly farther. but prior to arriving in Page is Antelope Canyon (upper and lower). These last two diversions can be done as excursions while visiting Page as they are within 10 miles of town.
