drive from Redlodge to jackso

A group of 4 planning on driving from Redlodge to Jackson in July. Is this feasible. Wanting to do the beartooth hwy on the way. Looks like driving through Yellowstone is the shortest. Any suggestions. Thanks

Yep.

Going through Yellowstone saves about 120 miles, but due to slow speeds inside the parks saves only about an hour of driving. There are 2 obvious routes: 1. stay on the Beartooth to the northeast entrance, drive through Lamar Valley, go south at Roosevelt to the south entrance and then on to Jackson; or 2. stay on the Beartooth until you reach the Chief Joseph Highway, take the CJH south to Cody, drive west into the park and out the south entrance to Jackson.
