Snake river overlook, Oxbow Bend, Sign Mnt....and??

Hi,

I have seen plenty of posts on this. I am a photography buff and would like to take some sunrise, sunset photos. Oxbow Bend looks to be the most visited for sunrise.

Can anyone tell me how easy it is to go to any of these locations (Snake river overlook, Oxbow Bend, Sign Mnt.) early in the morning? I will be visting the park on labor day for 4 days.

Also, if you have any other recommendations for locations, please let me know.

Thanks,

S.P

This is not the link to the national park website but a good one for the top ten spots to see and photograph in the Grand Tetons and it has a map-

Quite easy. All are shown on the park map and can be reached with very little walking.

Thanks TetonBill.

What about National Elk Refuge? Can I spot Elks there now? Or is that too early since the Elks come down in Winter?

Thanks. S.P

Sorry, the Elk Refuge is 25,000 empty acres of land during September. Elk don't begin to arrive in the Refuge until November, depending largely on snowfall in the higher elevations.
