cabin search overload! wedding chapel burn out!

My fiance and I will be traveling at the end of May to be married in a chapel- which one I dont know because i am burnt out researching all the reviews. I do not want anything cheesy. It will be just the two of us. We are looking for a cabin ( not in a resort) that has great mountain views, hot tub under covered deck, a whirlpool tub and that is not to far from the national park, gatlinburg, pigeon forge area.

also need info on some great picture taking spots, covered bridges, easy to access waterfalls, great picnic areas near water. We would also like to go white water rafting have just heard of buggy rides in cades cove, anyone know about that?. Big list.. huh!! he has never been so I want it to be special.

thank you in advance.

If you're looking for a beautiful setting away from all the traffic and congestion of Gatlinburg, you might want to consider Townsend. There's a lovely wedding chapel there: along the river:

if you want a cabin in the mountsin, I would suggest something in Wears Valley - near Townsend. Townsend is considered the quiet side of the Smoky Mountains and has everything you need for a great trip.

As far as waterfalls, one of my favorte is Grotto Falls. Not a hard hike and you can actually walk behind the waterfall - will make great pictures!

Congratulations on the upcoming wedding!

In my opinion Jackson Mountain Homes is the best cabin rental company - http://www.jacksonmountain.com

The Little Log Chapel is nice for a larger group - http://www.logchapel.com/

Creekside Cove Chapel is nice for small, simple weddings - www.hearthsidecabinrentals.com/cabin.php?id=1

You can see lots of wedding pictures from locations in and around the Smoky Mountains at my website - perfectweddingpics.com/smokymountainwedding/ .Let me know if you see a spot you like and I will email you directions.

I thought the Mountain Valley Chapel was a beautiful place to be so close to town. There were so many flowers blooiming when we were there...it was gorgeous.

You will find carriage rides in Cades Cove at the Cades Cove stables. cadescovestables.com/guided-carriage-rides.s… Try Chimney Tops picnic area in the Park above Gatlinburg up 441 for picnic area next to a stream.
