I plan on doing a lot more backcountry camping this year and was looking for some new gear.Does anyone know if they make a backpacking cot tent, something fairly lightweight and able to be packed in and out in a backpack.Thx,Junktruck

Have never used this but luxury llight has a cot weighing in under 3 lbs, designed for backpacking. That combined with one of Eureka's or REI's single person tents in the 2 - 3 lb range would give you a tent + cot at under 6 lbs. My preference is a higher end sleeping pad just to save the extra 2 - 3 lb in cot weight.

never heard of a cot designed for backpacking. they might exist but it's not something i would imagine you'd find to be very lightweight, as far as backpacking goes. try a hammock instead.
