Bad news: Hurricane Ridge Road washed out

The road to Hurricane Ridge has suffered a huge washout right before the entry station. It may take weeks to repair the road. For now, there is no access to Hurricane Ridge or even to the Lake Angeles Trailhead. I'll try to keep everyone posted.

I wish we would have gotten up there a few weeks ago! Hopefully it is a priority to be fixed.

Thanks for this news. The preliminary estimate is for repairs to take a month to six weeks to complete, with discussion about a bypass before that according to the local paper: http://tinyurl.com/ylom93e. Any updates much appreciated.
