Mount Walker

Is this a strenuous hike up to the top? Do you have to pay to park at the bottom? Is it worth the trip there? Thinking of stopping on the way to Port Angeles. Is it a long way off the road? THANKS

SaraJames, you need only post once in either the WA State forum or the Olympic National Park Forum.

Lots of information via Google, for example: wta.org/go-hiking/…mount-walker

Local experts will probably respond as well.

The trail climbs 2000 feet in 2.5 miles. You'll have to judge if that is strenuous for you yourself. There's no fee to park at the bottom. Hopefully you will have a clear day. The view is amazing, including downtown Seattle.

(You can also just drive to the top)
