Day hike suggestions wanted late April

I plan on doing one or two days of day hikes in Shenandoah in late April/Early May. I'm looking for something with good views, preferable not too crowded, probably moderate difficulty (although for exceptional veiws, I might be willing to work a little harder!). Idealy I'd do one day of between 5 to 10 miles (hoping to spend about 6 hours), and maybe a second day of a few smaller hikes. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I'm not from the area, so any tips/specific directions would be helpful. Thank you!

One of my favorites is Rose River Loop Trail, it meets most of your criteria, here is the trail map:

There are many nice hikes with great views, consider some of these, you can find the trail maps with trailhead information at nps.gov/shen:

Stony Man or Little Stony Man

Bearfence Rock Scramble

Blackrock Summit

Dark Hollow Falls is a wonderful waterfall hike but is one of the most popular trails in the Park, so it is usually FULL of people.

Hope this helps. Happy trails.

FYI......Bearfence Trail is often a bit busy at the beginning, once the rocks come into play it usually thins out. Spectacular views at the end.

Enjoy Shenandoah.

Although it's likely to be crowded, Old Rag is an awesome hike. Some other popular hikes in Shenandoah include Compton Peak (MP 10.4), Overall Run Falls (22.2), Stony Man (41.7), Whiteoak Canyon (42.6), Hawksbill Summit (46.7), Rose River Falls (49.4), Dark Hollow Falls (50.7), and Blackrock Summit (84.8).
