Hampton and many other lodging choices are in Springdale, literally at the park entrance. That's where we always stay. That's also where you'll find an abundance of shops and services. You'll go there everyday regardless of where you sleep at night.
Zions is one of the few NPs where we advise against staying in the park lodge.
Not sure if the lodging prices will come down to $150 a night by mid November. You can take a look at Pioneer Lodge, Quality Inn, Zion Park Motel, and Bumbleberry. You might be able to find a basic room at Driftwood, Cliffrose, or Majestic at that pricepoint.
Just did a quick look at Driftwood Lodge for Mid November(weekday), a prices are at $100 a night for a King room.
In any event, take a look, and do not use the third party websites. See https://www.zionpark.com/hotelsandsmotels for links.
I really like that Hampton Inn.
However, I'll be the the voice a descent and suggest you stay at the lodge. The advantage, being you don't have to fight the lines at the visitors center to ride the shuttle. You can always head into town either by car or by shuttle for meals - it's only a 10 minute drive.
