Zion to Bryce - Points of interest

Hi, traveling from Zion to Bryce next week, is there anything of interest to see/visit on route or should we spend more time in Zion and leave a few hours later.

There is something called Red Canyon just before Bryce. It's worth a stop. The nice thing about it is that it could be a two-minute stop.

Cedar Breaks is a little out of the way, but some people really like it.

There are several rock shops in Orderville that might pique your interest.

And Red Canyon is worth a stop.

I would recommend taking I 15 to Cedar City. Stock up on supplies there (there is little in the Bryce area), then drive across 14. Definitely stop at Cedar Breaks. It is geologically similar to Bryce, but very uncrowded. There are also incredible lava fields along the way. If it is a clear day you can see Zion to the south. It is a gorgeous drive.
