lodging with view on beach small quite place.

Senior with limited mobility. Would like a place close enough to beach to hear surf and enjoy gulf view.

Are you looking for a hotel or a condo?

It will be for just one or two nights passing thru the area. Just a simple place close to the water. My husband cannot walk to far, uses two canes or a walker. We will not get in the water just want to relax on a balcony or a patio where we can see the water and hear the surf.

For that short period, it doesn't make sense to rent a condo and pay deposit plus cleaning fees. Consider the Hampton Inn which has gulf-front with balconies and is close to the water. (You won't be able to see the water from the first floor at any beachfront hotel because of the dunes.) I can't think of any small hotels - maybe the Sea Oats Motel in Destin? Also on the water with balconies. Good luck!

I recommend the Holiday Inn at Pensacola Beach.
