We stay in Seattle and are planning a 3 day trip to Oregon Coast. We have already been to Portand and the Columbia River Gorge area and the Columbia River Gorge area.
Our tentative plan is as follows.
1. Drive from Seattle all the way to Canon beach on Thursday evening and spend the night there.
2. Spend Friday in the Canon beach area (Ecola State park etc). Drive in the evening to Yachats and spend the night there.
3. On Saturday, explore the Cape Perpetua area and spend the night either in Yachats or in Florence.
4. Take the dunes ride on Sunday morning and drive all the way back to Seattle on Sunday.
Does this sound like a reasonable itinerary? Are there sufficient places to visit for an entire day in the Cape Perpetua area.
If you have any suggestions, please do let us know.
