A bit of a challenge for you all: Planning a family vacation for next February -- we're in northenr New England, and a WARM February getaway is crucial to mental health -- and would like to do something a little more adventurous than Florida this year. My family is rooting for Disney World, which we did 3 years ago (have done different parts of the Keys the last 2 years). DW was fun, but I would prefer something new, and something a little more "real."
At last figuring, it would be about $3200 for us to do 6 nights at the resort we want, including park tickets and a dining plan. About $975 for flights. So the question:
Any suggestions for a Caribbean vacation of about a week that would cost less than that? Ideally something still somewhat "packaged" -- maybe an all-inclusive, or a resort with lots of kids activities? Also can't be too tricky to get to from New England (no more than one flight transfer).
Does such a thing exist?
All guidance welcome!
