Swimming pool?

We have a one year old daughter that doesn't want to swim in the sea and are looking for some swimming pool. Is there any hotel where it is possible to buy entrance? Or restaurant? We finds it hard to find..

To best of my knowledge you'd have to stay at a hotel or resort to have use of their pool. Others may know more.

Anguilla Great House used to sell passes to its pool -- I would check with them as it's the only one I know about.

You could buy a day pass to Cap Juluca and it would include the use of their beach chairs and pools. Pretty expensive, I think it includes the use of a room to change and shower in. The pool is tucked away back behind their restaurant Blue, on the small side, nice but no ocean view. You would have to call to see what they are charging these days.

Be patient with the little one, most children are afraid & cry & fuss at first.....it might take an hour of frustration, a few tears, hug her close.... if you sandwich her between the two of you, that works as well.....she will thank you later....

Conde Nast Traveler just featured the pool at CuisinArt Golf Resort & Spa amount the top in the Caribbean!

The signature infinity lap pool stretches through the center of the five-star Anguillan resort. It tapers off to a picturesque view of Rendezvous Bay and neighboring St. Maarten. We'd love to have you stay at our property.

Viceroy has day passes for $50 per person. This gives you use of the entire resort (gym, water activities, pool, chairs, etc). They have a kids pool area too.

Thank you all for good advice! We found the pool at Great house very good, newly renovated and a good price 5 dollar each (and not for the baby).

Good advice about having the little one get used to the salt water in the sea. At 1 year old it may be a little young to allow her to decide things like this without more guidance. The beach can be much more fun with playing in the sand and running from the waves. if you stay close with her and keep he from getting too splashed she'll be fine. If she were ten and preferred the pool that would be a different story after having been exposed to both pools and beaches.
